These Terms of Use govern your use of the mobile application "Blackjack Counter & EV" (the "App") provided by Oden, LLC ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Acceptable Use
The App is a blackjack strategy calculator designed for educational and entertainment purposes only. You agree to use the App in compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations.
2. Disclaimer
The App provides mathematical calculations of expected values based on game theory. The results are for informational purposes only and do not guarantee any specific outcomes. Some calculations (such as Split EV) are approximations and may differ from exact theoretical values. We are not responsible for any financial losses or gains resulting from decisions made based on the App's calculations, nor for any errors or inaccuracies in the calculations.
3. No Gambling Service
The App does not provide gambling services, does not accept real-money wagers, and does not facilitate access to gambling platforms. The App is a standalone calculator tool.
4. Use at Casinos and Online Gambling Sites
Please be aware of the following:
- Using this App to assist play at a casino or gambling establishment may violate that venue's terms and conditions
- Using this App on online casino platforms may result in account suspension or other penalties under their terms of service
- Casino games including blackjack carry an inherent house edge — players are at a mathematical disadvantage over the long run
- The App's calculations do not guarantee winnings, and we accept no responsibility for any financial losses
5. Problem Gambling
Gambling carries a risk of addiction. If you or someone you know is struggling with gambling, please seek help from a qualified support organization. The App does not encourage or promote gambling.
6. Age Restriction
This App is intended for users aged 18 and over. Use by minors is not permitted.
7. Subscription
The App offers auto-renewing subscriptions. Subscriptions become active upon purchase confirmation and will automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. iOS users can manage or cancel subscriptions via App Store Settings (Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions). Android users can manage or cancel via Google Play (Account > Subscriptions). Refunds are handled in accordance with Apple App Store and Google Play policies.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the App, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, algorithms, and software, are owned by us and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE APP.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Kagoshima District Court.
11. Updates and Changes
We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue the App at any time without prior notice. We may also update these Terms of Use from time to time. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
12. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.
